On the last Bandcamp Friday of 2023, let us reflect on another difficult year for the music industry. Nearly every corner of the industry has seen disruption, causing writers to lose steady work, and musicians to lose revenue from streaming sources. The industry deserves better. In the absence of change, do what you can to support others. Give to writers who have lost work. Give to musicians that struggle to continue creating.
